3. Working Principle: Laminar Filtration & Internal Turbulence Backwashing

The efficiency of the AGF filter is driven by two distinct phases:

Filtration Phase

Sewage enters through a three-stage water distributor, ensuring a stable laminar flow (advection) through the media layer. Impurities are trapped with high precision. At the bottom, 55 mushroom-shaped collectors ensure uniform discharge, allowing for high-flow rate filtration without compromising water quality.

Backwash Phase

When the pressure differential (ΔP) reaches the setpoint, the three-way valve automatically switches. Filtered water is redirected into the backwash tank to create internal turbulence. The filter media particles rub against each other, effectively stripping away trapped sludge with zero material leakage.
