The Pall filter is an important equipment in the S-zorb unit, responsible for significant gas-solid separation. The filtering principle of the Pall filter in the S-zorb device is shown in the figure above. During the filtering process, the surface of the filter first forms a shape as shown in the left figure. When the design differential pressure is reached, reverse blowing begins, as shown in the right figure. The reverse blowing time is very short, and the result of reverse blowing is to blow large particles down from the surface of the filter, while fine particles can firmly adhere to the surface of the filter, forming a supplementary filtering layer and increasing the filtering effect. During the filtering process, smaller particles can be filtered out, and the filtering differential pressure of the filter itself changes to a constant value (which is greater than the differential pressure of the filter itself), achieving a supplementary balance.
